Climate Classroom
Climate Classroom is a unique initiative that educates students on climate change and ethical consumerism in a fun, interactive way.
Designed to inspire action, it encouraged students to engage with environmental causes.
Through critical discussions, we encouraged students to reassess privilege and priorities. Climate Classroom also looked at bridging the urban-rural divide, connecting urban youth with rural communities to help them see how climate change first impacts marginalized people.
Samagrshala - The Green Campus
For this endeavour, we turned a 2.5-acre green campus in the middle of a barren village called Kakalwara in Ajmer District, Rajasthan, into our ideal classroom. With a rich history of championing various child rights causes for over 25 years, it became the perfect foundation for our Climate Classroom.
Super Fun Workshops!
With 4 detailed yet easily consumable modules, interspersed with exercises, activities and experience sharing, this Climate Classroom was a first-of-its-kind collective learning space for children between the ages of 11 and 14.
